FAQ
General Questions
1. How does altitude training work?
At sea level, we breathe air that contains 21% oxygen. In our Altipeak studios, we lower the oxygen content to around 15.5%, simulating an altitude of 2,500 metres.
This means your body has to work harder and more efficiently to deliver oxygen to your muscles. Over time, this adaptation improves your endurance, cardiovascular fitness, and energy levels.
When you return to sea level, your body is better conditioned, leading to:
✅ Faster fitness gains
✅ Improved performance
✅ More results with less training
Altitude training helps you get fitter, faster – and get more out of doing less!
2. Do I need to be fit to start?
No! Our programs are designed for all fitness levels. Whether you’re a beginner or an elite athlete, we tailor each session to match your ability while ensuring you get maximum results.
3. Will I have to run on a treadmill immediately?
No! You can choose your equipment: bike, treadmill, rower, or ski erg. Our coach will explain everything before your first class, so you can start at a pace that feels comfortable.
4. Is altitude training safe?
Yes! We’ve been trusted for over 10 years by thousands of people, including professional athletes and complete beginners. Training at simulated altitude challenges your body in a controlled environment, and our expert coaches monitor you throughout.
